The application is common. You are not.
As a Shipley School graduate and Princeton alumna, I know firsthand how stressful the college application process can be, and I know how to bring you to the other side with a peaceful semester, a strong essay, and a confident application.
“Who are you, and what do you care about?” is a challenging question for an adult to answer when the stakes are low. For a teenager facing college admissions, it can be paralyzing. The company I created, Master Mine, specializes in guiding students to write college essays that answer these difficult questions in honest, compelling, and meaningful ways.
The Common App essay is at once a creative writing and an analytical assignment. Our program is designed to bring out the salient qualities of college applicants, to demonstrate truthfully their characters, personalities, and perspectives.
We offer one-on-one sessions personalized to the needs of each student. Starting from scratch, our students complete powerful Common App essays written entirely in their own words.
Recent students now attend universities including Harvard, Princeton, UChicago, and Vanderbilt.
